Quaker Steak & Lube in Brick Closed Permanently

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed a local restaurant that informed employees they will not be re-opening. Quaker Steak & Lube in Brick opened in October of 2012 and is one of three franchise locations in New Jersey. The Brick restaurant announced on March 18 they were closing due to the virus but said they expected to come back better and stronger than ever. With an uncertain future for restaurants/bars and lease considerations, Doherty Enterprises which operates 150 restaurants in four states has now decided to close the Brick Plaza location. They also operate Quaker Steak & Lube locations in Edison and Pohatcong, New York.
