Austin Siler, 19, of Kettering, Ohio, was pronounced dead at 8:21 AM on August 4 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, according to the office of Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato. Authorities said that no evidence points to criminal activity.

Brick Township responded to emergency room staffers who reported that Siler was delivered to the hospital by friends. Resuscitation efforts by hospital staff failed, authorities said, and county Major Crimes Unit investigators were summoned at about 9:00 AM.

The result s of a post-mortem exam at Community Medical Center in Toms River will be added to the Medical Examiner's report, which will include toxicology findings, authorities said.

Authorities said that Siler was in town to visit friends, but they did not identify any, nor did they disclose where Siler stayed, or whether he was accompanied by family members.
