Plainfield man charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a minor
A Plainfield man is charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl he met through a smart-phone app.
An investigation by South Plainfield Police on February 1 around 5:00 pm found that Gregory Cohen set up a meeting with the minor and is accused of then sexually assaulting her at the girls residence.
The 57-year old Cohen was arrested, brought to the Middlesex County Jail and charged with Sexual Assault, Criminal Sexual Contact and Endangering The Welfare of a Child.
He was released from custody by a Superior Court Judge 'pursuant' to the bail reform act.
