Package taken from W. Long Branch porch, suspect sought

Not long since a surveillance camera spotted a woman stealing a package from a porch in Middletown, here's a man taking one in West Long Branch.

Police there posted the images on their Facebook page as they hunt for an identity. They're urging anyone who recognizes him, or the vehicle, to contact them.

The date stamp on the image is January 20, 2016, with a time of 4:46 AM, if the setting is accurate. The post went up Wednesday afternoon.

Police offered no details about the contents of the package, the intended recipient, or a more detailed description of the suspect.

There is no indication that they have enhanced the image to reveal the license plate.
