One Ocean Township burglar is caught, the other is on the run
Ocean Township Police say they've arrested one man accused of committing a burglary at homes on Raymere Avenue and Logan Road, while the other suspect connected to the crime remains on the run.
A township resident reported that two subjects burglarized his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway.
During the investigation, Detectives uncovered another vehicle burglary that occurred at a residence on Logan Road.
Investigators obtained video surveillance which depicted two males committing motor vehicle burglaries at this location.
Detectives were able to positively identify one of the subjects as 28-year old Dominic Beerman, while the other subject, was identified by the Asbury Park Police as 27-year old Phillip Allesandro.
Allesandro was located in Asbury Park as he walking on Asbury Avenue and taken into custody.
Both Allesandro and Beerman were charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft.
Allesandro was remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute awaiting his initial court appearance.
Beerman is still being sought by this agency.
