
Ocean Township man arrested for threatening to “burn the mayor’s house down”
A 75-year old man in Monmouth's Ocean Township who allegedly threatened to quote: "burn the mayor's house down" in a Facebook post was arrested and charged Saturday with making terroristic threats.

Arthur Morse allegedly became upset over a recent property tax increase.
He was arrested at his home on Alpern Avenue Saturday after police received a tip from a Facebook post forwarded to their department.
He was released on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
