Ocean Police disrupt underage drinking party that included a fight
Police in Ocean Township busted up an underage drinking party over the weekend at a home on Wenning Court that included more than just drinking.
Officers were informed of a fight possibly involving a weapon when they arrived at the scene.
The officers made entry into the residence in an attempt to locate the people involved in the fight.
They located a minor with an injury to his face and first aid was dispatched.
While inside the residence, police said that they found evidence the juveniles were consuming alcoholic beverages and all of the people within the residence were under the legal age to possess alcohol.
All of the juveniles on scene were held in protective custody until a parent or guardian could respond to pick them up.
The subject who hosted the party was taken into protective custody as well and later released.
Two township ordinance summons were issued for underage consumption of alcohol.
