Ocean man stole electronics and sold them to pawn shop, police say
An Ocean Township man is the suspect identified by police as the man who stole $3,700.00 worth of electronics from a house on Chestnut Avenue in the Wanamassa section and then sold them to a Middlesex County pawn shop.
In mid-March police say that the suspect, later identified as 25-year old Nicholas Farrell, entered that residence and stole the electronics.
Detective Christopher Brady investigated the break-in and on Wednesday of this week located the stolen merchandise at a Middlesex County pawn shop.
This led him to Farrell who was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with one count of receiving stolen property.
He was released on a criminal summons pending his initial court appearance.
