Ocean County man wanted for arson and attempted murder
Ocean County investigators are asking for your help in finding 36-year old Kenneth Lyons of Ocean who's wanted for allegedly setting fire to a Toms River home April 7.
Lyons allegedly set the inferno to a home at 6 Castro Grove Road of someone he knows personally as an acquaintance of the victim, according to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
Police and Fire units arrived on the scene April 7 around 1:30 am for a structure fire.
Toms River officers sensed there was something more going on and noted the suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire as they secured the scene and reported their findings.
Units from Silverton, Pleasant Plains, and East Dover fire companies responded and extinguished the fires.
The investigation that followed lead them to Lyons as a suspect who is alleged to have "deliberately set both fires."
Lyons couldn't be found at his listed addresses sparking the search and release of his photo and information in hopes you may have seen something.
He is listed at 5'9 and weighs about 204-pounds and is wanted for Aggravated Arson and Attempted Murder.

Toms River Police Detective Andrew Chencharik, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Detective Thomas Haskell Jr., and Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention Officer Dominick Roselli are conducting the investigation.
Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigation Detectives Jordan Toscano and Jillian Marin documented the crime scene.
