Nordstrom Rack Is Adding 4 New Jersey Stores

The family needed a clever way to clear out leftover inventory and customer returns without selling to outside liquidators.

That basement bargain spot was such a hit with shoppers that they opened the first standalone Rack store ten years later in Oregon.

By the 2000s, it blew up nationwide, eventually moving online in 2014. Today, it's a massive off-price retailer offering brand-name clothes and home goods at way lower prices, and it actually drives a huge chunk of Nordstrom’s overall sales.

Where Is Nordstrom Adding New "Rack" Locations In New Jersey?

According to NJ.com, Nordstrom Rack is expanding in 4 New Jersey towns. "Nordstrom Rack released the opening dates for four new stores across New Jersey this fall; two locations will open in early October and two more will open their doors later in the month. The retailer will open stores in Marlton and Ramsey on Oct. 8, followed by locations in East Brunswick and Deptford on Oct. 29."

There are 9 Nordstrom Rack locations currently in New Jersey. The new additions, four, will bring the total to 13 by the end of the year here in the Garden State.
