Toms River East will not be playing today at the Little League World Series in Williamsport because Sunday's game between Michigan and Texas was postponed by rain on Sunday.  The New Jersey champs, who stayed alive in the double elimination tournament with a dramatic come-from-behind win on Saturday, will play the loser of today's Michigan-Texas game on Tuesday at 3pm at Lamade Stadium.  That game will be televised live on ESPN.

By losing their first game last Thursday Toms River East has put themselves in a position where they cannot lose again if they hope to play for the championship.  They would likely have to win four consecutive games beginning Tuesday to earn a spot in Sunday's LLWS Championship game.
