Good news for everyone who has a vacation planned for out of state this year.

In a press conference Monday morning, Governor Phil Murphy has revealed that the mandate requiring for you to quarantine upon returning to the state of New Jersey is now lifted for those that are vaccinated and for those that can provide a negative COVID-19 test within 3 days.

Obviously, if you plan on traveling internationally, then you need to keep in mind that all things COVID are not created equal, meaning that just because things seem to be on the up and up for us here in New Jersey, doesn't mean it's like that everywhere. If you're traveling, especially overseas, it's probably a good idea to do a bit of research before you go in an effort to make yourself aware of that state or country's protocols set in place.

Little by little, we're starting to see normalcy established once again back into our society. The most frustrating aspect of it all, most would likely agree, is the indefinite timeline of everything. It's hard when nobody can predict what's around the corner.

All we can do now is hope and pray that people, regardless of their vaccination status (as it is personal choice), is doing what they can to make sure we, as a state, don't regress to where we were this time last year.

Luckily, it's getting warmer and warmer by the day. Everyone wants to be outside. So, with what the CDC has said in the most recent days and weeks, not much is predicted to happen if people are mostly outdoors rather than in close quarters.

Maybe this will be the last summer we have to deal with this mess. Fingers crossed.
