New Jersey man fires 9 rounds into the air after getting kicked out of a bar
A New Jersey man who was kicked out of a bar following an altercation came back with a gun and fired 9-rounds into the air while driving through the parking lot, and then fled the scene.
Police in Monroe Township, Gloucester County said they responded to the incident on Saturday outside Rack's Pub and Grill and once on scene, heard gunshots going off from the back of the building.
As officers ran towards where the gunfire was coming from, the suspect fled the parking lot.
A bystander informed police the suspect was fleeing the area and it helped officers track down the suspect's vehicle.
The suspect himself fled on foot into a wooded area in Winslow Township, where police caught up with Jehuti Sundaita, 50, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, and placed him under arrest.
Police learned the reason Sundaita came back to the scene the way he did, was because the staff at Rack's removed him following an altercation.
He returned with a gun and threatened several staff members, who acted quickly by calling the police and locking down the bar, which is when the shots went off.
Sundaita was processed, charged, and then brought to the Salem County Jail.
