New Season Of CBS “Survivor” Has A Jersey Shore Native Competing
New Jersey Resident Is Competing In CBS "Survivor"
It seems like Survivor has been airing on CBS for a long time, well it has been as the CBS reality show gets set to begin its 47th season! Yes, I said 47th season. It's been a long time since Richard Hatch was running around in his "birthday suit" on the very first season. Well, longtime host Jeff Probst and Survivor is returning to CBS this fall for a new set of castaways and a new island and this time around a Jersey Shore resident from Southern Ocean County is among those competing.
According to a recent Patch article, "An Ocean County native is hoping to "outwit, outplay and outlast" on the upcoming 47th season of the hit CBS show "Survivor." Teeny Chirichillo, 24, is one of 18 castaways competing to be the "Sole Survivor" and win $1 million on the new season of the show, CBS announced this week."
Teeny Chirichillo (according to CBS Bio) is a native of Manahawkin and still lives in Stafford Township. It's pretty cool for this New Jersey woman to represent us in this grueling reality show. We are wishing her well and hoping she can win and grab the 1 million dollar prize.
According to Patch, Chirichillo said "The energy I'll bring forth is a pickpocket from the 'Oliver Twist' universe," she said. "Stealing their hearts, their trust, their spot in the final three. And before they know it, they've voted for me and I won."
Look for CBS Survivor season 47 beginning September 18th. No word where the castaways will be dropped off but as we know it will be an island of obstacles and backstabbing until one is the "survivor". Teeny good luck we will be watching.
