New Jersey's Best Town To Live In Is One Of The Best In America
What makes a great town to live in? Is it the perfect house? Is it the best school for your children? Is it the safety of your neighborhood? Is it the roads? Is it the taxes? Is it the stores that are available? These all seem like good and legitimate reasons to pick a town to live in, right? Would your list look similar to the ones I just posted?

I discovered an article by Emily Sherman for Stacker that lists the "best" towns to live in, in America. One interesting note from this article is where the most popular region is to move in America. "While Americans opt to move for a variety of reasons, December 2024 data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that many are heading to one region: the southern U.S. The area gained nearly 1.8 million new residents in 2024, a 1.4% increase from the year prior."
In addition, "Stacker compiled a list of the best places to live in every state using Niche's 2023 rankings. Niche ranks places to live based on many factors, including the cost of living, educational attainment, housing, and public schools."
So what about the selection for us living here in the Garden State? You have to go to Mercer County to find the choice in the Stacker post. They list Princeton Junction (Ranked #14) as New Jersey's "best" town to live in. "Princeton Junction might be located near Princeton University, but it still offers a small-town feel. You can hop over to the Princeton University Art Museum for the day or enjoy a peaceful walk at the Ronald Rogers Arboretum."
