New Jersey Man Sets Out To Break World Record To Help Those In Need

It is pretty cool to be a Guinness Book of World Records champion, but it's even more impressive, in my humble opinion, when you use the world record to help others. That is exactly what one New Jersey resident is doing with this crazy fundraiser.

First, let's meet the person who is trying to break the world record. Jaii Xander is an up-and-coming streamer, but he is also an advocate for the homeless. That is the cause he is looking to help: homelessness.

According to Patch, "This time last year, Xander was homeless. He found himself in heavy debt, working 13-hour shifts, sleeping in his car, and bouncing across hotel rooms when he could afford it."

After helping family and working his way back, the good news is that Jaii is no longer homeless, and now he wants to give back and raise money through this record-breaking feat.

NJ Man Looks To Break The Underpants World Record

Yes, the world record Xander is attempting to break is wearing the most underpants at one time! Talk about layers! lol The current record is 266 pairs of underpants, set by Steve Jacobs of Australia in 2012. Xander is looking at 300 undies at once.

According to Patch, on October 12th, at 2 p.m., Xander will be in the center of the Morristown Green, where he will attempt to wear at least 267 pairs of underpants.

Good luck, Jaii, and squeeze into those underpants!
