If you're brave and thinking of heading into New York City for one of the biggest New Year's Eve parties in the world, New Jersey Transit is trying to make it easier, but it comes with one caveat.

New Jersey Transit announced that they will be running extra buses and trains to New York Penn Station on Tuesday (New Year's Eve) and back from the City in the early morning hours of January 1st, including on the North Jersey Coast Line.

The one special note, though, is that no beverages of any kind will be allowed on New Jersey Transit buses and trains on Tuesday and early Wednesday, so leave those midnight energy drinks at home.

I don't know about you, but I get anxiety just thinking about braving the shoulder to shoulder crowds that come along with New Year's Eve in New York City, but if you're someone who wants to experience the spectacle for yourself, NJ Transit is at least making it easier to get there and back.
