Every summer, my social media fills up with breathtaking photos of endless golden sunflower fields, and every year I tell myself, "I'm finally going to visit one of the beautiful farms in New Jersey." Somehow, summer always flies by before I get the chance. This year, though, I'm not letting that happen.

What surprised me is just how many incredible sunflower farms we have right here in New Jersey.

From Ocean County to South Jersey and beyond, these vibrant fields burst into bloom, creating one of the most beautiful sights of the season. It's like walking into a sea of sunshine, with thousands of bright yellow blooms stretching as far as the eye can see.

A trip to a sunflower farm is one of those classic summer adventures that's fun for the whole family. Stroll through winding paths surrounded by towering flowers, pick your own bouquet to bring home, snap Instagram-worthy photos, enjoy wagon rides, visit farm markets, and make memories that will last long after summer ends.

I've always loved visiting New Jersey's colorful tulip farms each spring, but I have a feeling sunflower season is about to become my new favorite tradition. There's just something magical about standing in the middle of a field of golden blooms under a bright blue summer sky that makes you appreciate everything we love about summertime in the Garden State.

#1 - Happy Day Farm in Manalapan, NJ - Happy Day Farm's sunflower field is now in bloom and runs through August 25th. Get ready for a sea of sunflowers.
