You don’t have to love fishing to appreciate this incredible Jersey Shore landmark. Stretching far into the Atlantic Ocean, New Jersey’s longest fishing pier delivers stunning coastal views, fresh sea air, and one unforgettable walk above the water.

A Pier That Seems To Stretch Forever

Even if fishing isn’t your thing, this is still one of the coolest spots to visit along the Jersey Shore. The moment you step onto this massive pier, it feels like it just keeps going and going.

The first time I visited several years ago, I honestly couldn’t believe how long it was. We’re lucky to have amazing beaches and famous boardwalks here in New Jersey, but this pier stands out in a completely different way.

New Jersey’s Longest Fishing Pier

New Jersey is home to plenty of fishing piers, but this one is on another level. According to onlyinyourstate.com, the longest fishing pier in the Garden State stretches more than 1,000 feet into the ocean.

Walking out across it almost feels like something you’d see in Florida or along the coast of North Carolina. The views are wide open, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful.

Located In Quaint Ventnor City

You’ll find this impressive pier in Ventnor City, a charming shore town in Atlantic County known for its relaxed beach town feel.

One of the best parts is that the pier is open year-round, making it a perfect destination no matter the season. Right now might be one of the best times to visit with the warmer weather and ocean breezes returning to the Jersey Shore.

The Sunrise And Sunset Views Must Be Incredible

I still want to experience this pier during either sunrise or sunset because the scenery has to be unforgettable at those times of day.
