What is a Frost Advisory?

A Frost Advisory means it’s going to get cold enough for frost to form, usually overnight. It’s a warning to protect plants or other things that could be harmed by the cold.

Nine Counties in New Jersey are under a frost advisory for tonight (10/23/25) into Friday (10/24/25).

• Burlington (northwestern & southeastern portions)

• Camden

• Cumberland

• Gloucester

• Mercer

• Monmouth (western)

• Ocean

• Salem

Lows tonight can vary from the mid to upper 30s to low 40s. Friday will see sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Weekend looks crisp with sun on Saturday and clouds on Sunday, with highs both days in mid to upper 50s.

Some may see the heat on in the house by morning with chilly temps to start the day on Friday.
