If New Jerseyans Could Live in a Christmas Movie, Which One Would It Be?
Christmas movies usually have a heartwarming theme with beautiful blankets of snow. They make Christmas seem just so perfect.
I've heard people discuss which movie universe they would want to live in so I thought, hey what about Christmas movies?
I went to Facebook to ask that very question.
If you could live in any Christmas movie, which one would it be?
The responses were a little shocking to me.
The number one answer by far was It's a Wonderful Life.
Don't get me wrong, I love It's a Wonderful Life just as much as the next person, but is that really the movie you would want to live in?
One of the main plot points of the movie is a bank run that took place during the Great Depression.
Would you really want to live through the Great Depression???
Sure, Bedford Falls seems like a lovely town and It's a Wonderful Life is a heartwarming movie, but I would prefer not living through the Great Depression if I can avoid it.
I feel like some people just named their favorite movie, not the one they think would be the best to live in.
If I had to choose a movie, I too would pick my favorite.
The 2000 version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas is my favorite Christmas movie by far and it doesn't seem like it would be a terrible movie to live in.
Whoville seems like a fun place to live, even if they are so tiny that their entire world fits on a snowflake.
I've always wondered, what happens when the snowflake melts?
We'll just pretend that it never does...
