The Best Pie in New Jersey: Locals Pick Their Favorite Just in Time for Christmas!

It’s Officially Pie Season in New Jersey

Halloween is over and let’s be honest, it’s pie season. With Christmas just around the corner, I’m already dreaming about that perfect slice of pumpkin pie (my personal favorite).

There’s just something about the aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and flaky crust that makes this time of year feel extra cozy.

And if you’re anything like me, you know that no holiday, family gathering, or backyard BBQ is complete without a good pie on the table.

Growing up, my dad always ended every dinner out the same way, with a warm slice of apple pie. It’s simple, classic, and somehow feels like home with every bite.

New Jersey’s Love Affair with Pie

Here in New Jersey, we take our pies seriously. From small-town bakeries to countryside farms, the Garden State knows how to bake up something special.

While we all love a good pizza pie, our hearts (and forks) belong to the sweet kind, apple, cherry, and pumpkin topping the list. Some folks even swear by a tart and tangy Key Lime, especially my coworkers who can’t resist that refreshing twist.

Locals Choose Emery’s Farm as the Best

So where can you find one of the very best pies in New Jersey? According to locals, the crown goes to Emery’s Farm in New Egypt.

Their pies are legendary, buttery crusts, perfectly balanced fillings, and that homemade flavor that makes every slice taste like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen.

Chosen by New Jersey residents themselves, Emery’s Farm proudly takes home the title of Best Pie in New Jersey for 2025. Just in time for Christmas, it’s the perfect excuse to grab a few (or several) for your holiday table.

Because in New Jersey, we don’t just bake pies, we celebrate them!
