Neglected Puppy Found Starving and Unable to Walk

There is absolutely no reason for this. When I scroll through social media, and I come across a post that details a horrible experience that a poor, innocent animal has because humans have failed them devastates me and makes my blood boil. 

Pitties and Pals Rescue, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue based in Jackson, explains how they found a neglected and starving dog on the streets of Newark. 

This is sickening. 

The post says that he was found in a park, unable to walk because of severe hip problems coupled with terminal kidney disease. 

Luckily, someone who has a heart stepped in to take Beau so that he could live out his last days in peace. 

"We are not sure how long he has left… but we do know that he will get all the loving and moments of peace for whatever time he has left," the post said. 

Beau is only 4-years-old, "this is the work of complete neglect," the post said. 

The post concludes with Beau enjoying a hamburger and laying out in the sun, "which he very much enjoyed!" 

While I am delighted that Beau found a home for his last days, it clearly didn't need to get this far. I really hope they find who dumped him on the side of the road and lock them up for a long time. 

Justice must be served.
