Reports of rowdiness inside a Lakewood motel land five Ocean County men in trouble with the law, all charged with weapons possession.

Lakewood police said they responded to a call about disorderly guests at the Best Western on Route 70 around 1 PM Saturday.

Inside Room 147, police said, were six men and a handgun. One managed to bolt from the room while five were apprehended without incident, according to authorities.

Keyshawn Craig of Lakewood and Imere Meredith of Brick Township were charged with weapons possession and also brought to bear on active warrants issued against them, police said.

Also facing weapons possession charges are Ajhawn Wallace of Lakweood, Rashawn Jones of Brick and Lamont Williams of South Toms River.

They were remanded to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.
