After yesterday's horrifying bug conversation, I'm more than happy to talk about a critter that is considerably more pleasant than the terrible thing that was living outside my house.

Have you noticed an influx of monarch butterflies recently like I have?

It's still a bit early for the busiest part of the annual monarch butterfly migration south, but as we move further through August and ever closer to the fall, the orange and black bugs will start their annual trip south.

The monarch butterfly migration actually seemed to be going later into the fall than normal last year, so researchers are keeping a close eye on their behavior this year to see if any new patterns are emerging.

Have you seen more monarchs recently than usual? Head over to our Facebook page and tell us where!
