It's almost moving day for WOBM, and many of us here have mixed feelings.

It's always very cool to get into shiny new digs. New equipment, the smell of new carpet, and for a lot of us, a more convenient commute.

We'll be right in the heart of downtown Toms River. Steps from the city and county offices, and right across from Huddy Park. The location couldn't be better for Ocean County's Hometown Station.

But the excitement is a little bittersweet. 1015 Atlantic City Blvd has been the home of WOBM for nearly 45 years. This building has an amazing history (some of which is rumored to still hang around the halls).

Bittersweet is the perfect way to describe it though. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we're all excited to head to the heart of Ocean County, but it'll be a little sad to leave the historic home of WOBM behind.

I hope you'll come visit us when we make it over to 8 Robbins St in the next week or two and check out our new digs, I know you'll be impressed!
