Mister Softee Adds New Shop in Toms River

We've all chased down a Mister Softee ice cream truck at least once in our lives.

Now, you can enjoy the ice cream without the chase in Toms River - my best pal Andy Chase, on our sister station 105.7 the Hawk writes that Mister Softee has now opened a location at 1580 Lakewood Road (previously Jersey Girls Ice Cream Shoppe). They are currently open, and their hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 12 pm - 10 pm, and Friday - Sunday, 12 pm - 11 pm. Mr. Softee opened another shop in Beachwood back in January that we told you about.

I don't know about you, but when I think soft serve, Mr. Softee immediately comes to mind. I usually get a vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles. There will be plenty of sweet treats for you to choose from at the new store, Andy Chase explained that they'll carry "over 35 milkshakes and sundaes, with custom ice cream cakes for birthdays, graduations, and pretty much anything else you'd need a cake for."

So, the next time the kids are craving some soft serve, you won't have to wait for a truck, you can just get in the car and take a ride to the Mr. Softee store! Get more information about Mr. Softee on their website.
