Meteorologist Dan Zarrow Checks in From Long Beach Island on Saturday Morning as Hermine Approaches

WOBM Meteorologist Dan Zarrow took a trip to Holgate (on the southern end of Long Beach Island) this morning to check out how Hermine was affecting Long Beach Island this morning.

In the video you can definitely hear the wind howling, but Dan says they haven't had a drop of rain yet.

The waves in the video also looked impressive, and Dan says there is already some effects of beach erosion in Holgate. It definitely doesn't look like today is a beach day, and preparations for the immediate coast are well underway as the storm approaches.
