Memorial Day Weekend Approaches

The beckoning cries of boardwalk barkers, the smell of pizza wafting from the Beachcomber and the sounds of waves crashing on the beautiful beach all are signs that the Seaside area is well on its way to Memorial Day weekend.

As you can see from the photos below, the boardwalk in Seaside Park is quickly being rebuilt, after the major fire leveled much of the area last September. 

In addition, lifeguards were seen hard at work today sprucing up the lifeguard stand at Island Beach State Park, and some sunbathers were getting an early jump on the summer rays.
