Mega Millions Creates Excitment In Winning Stores [VIDEO]
There was a lot of excitement at a couple of convenience stores in Illinois and Maryland on Saturday.
The stores sold two of the winning tickets for last night’s Mega Millions jackpot. A third was sold in northeast Kansas, but lottery officials there won’t say any more until the winner comes forward.

The $640 million prize will be split between the winners. That’s adds up to more than $213 million before taxes.
None of the winners has been identified yet, and laws in Maryland and Kansas allow them to remain anonymous.
The manager of the 7-Eleven near Baltimore that sold one of the lucky tickets had to fend off a crowd of reporters with declarations of “no interviews.” While customers had a hard time getting to the counter this morning, the store stands to do well. It will receive a $100,000 for selling the winner.
