Meet Cutie Freckles, Pet of the Week

Freckles is searching for his forever home.

Freckles made headlines a few years ago when he became lost during Superstorm Sandy, and was reunited with his family a year later. Sadly, after this reunion, he was found as a stray three more times in the years to follow until his family finally gave him up for good. Freckles tries hard to not let this all get him down but the instability in his life has taken a toll on his health. He's about 9 1/2 years old now and Freckles has a skin condition which is being treated, but he will need a home where he will continue receiving medicine indefinitely. This sweet, loving, playful boy is well worth it though.  He's a fun and happy guy that makes friends easily and loves people of all ages.  Freckles will need a home with no cats or small dogs, but he gets along with some larger dogs given the time to get to know them. He loves to run and play and he soaks up all the attention you'll give him. Freckles has been waiting for such a long time for the safe, secure, loving home of his dreams.
