Do you love Krispy Kreme Donuts? It's tough to find them in New Jersey. Famous for their "glazed" donuts Krispy Kreme is a favorite of many, but getting your hands on a fresh Krispy Kreme can be a challenge.

I know April and I enjoy the original glazed from Krispy Kreme and when we have traveled if we spot a Krispy Kreme shop we will go in for a coffee and donut. However that's when we are away from Ocean County, what about finding a way to get a classic Krispy Kreme donut whenever we wanted? Could spell trouble actually lol

Well according to an article from Restaurant Business Online, McDonald's will begin selling Krispy Kreme donuts, but there is a catch. "McDonald’s in Louisville, Ky., will soon find something they probably won’t expect: Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The burger giant on Tuesday said that it will start selling three varieties of Krispy Kreme doughnuts at nine locations in the market in what is described as a limited-time operations test of the concept."

So there is your catch is a test project and for now, there won't be any glazed originals here in the Garden State, but if the test is a success who knows, maybe we will see them here at the Jersey Shore at local McDonald's. Personally, I think it's a great idea to put their McCafe together with Krispy Kreme.

According to Restaurant Business Online, "McDonald’s will sell Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed, a Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and a Raspberry Filled Doughnut. The doughnuts will be available all day starting Oct. 26."

Only Time will tell, but I'd like to see this :) What do you think of this possible merger? Let us know your thoughts below.
