Manchester Police said that they responded to the area around 9:13 pm and once on scene they saw a 2007 Harley Davidson FXD that sustained significant damage and "the incapacitated driver lying off of the roadway."

Their investigation determined that Lawrence Foca, 73, Manchester was driving eats on Route 70 when he suddenly lost control of his motorcycle and ran off the right side of the highway.

The motorcycle then struck a street sign which ejected Foca from the motorcycle which kept on traveling and overturned several times before hitting a tree and then falling onto the roadway.

Police said that Foca was wearing a DOT approved helmet at the time of the collision.

In the crash, Foca suffered a severe leg injury and was transported to Community Medical Center by Manchester EMS.

He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Manchester Police said that the crash remains under investigation by Sergeant Ian Bole and Patrolman Connor Yatauro of the Manchester Township Police Department Traffic Safety section.
