A six-week investigation led to the warrant. Police say they found evidence of marijuana cultivation, an undisclosed amount of weed, potted marijuana plants, scales, packaging material and other items related to distriburtion.

The raid entailed members of the Manchester PD Narcotics Enforcement Team and Investigations Bureau and members of the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team.

Investigators also found 11 pit bulls - three adults and eight puppies. The dogs were confiscated by Manchester Township Animal Control officers.

Ridley and Coleman are charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of under 50 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coleman was also subject to a warrant issued in Brick Township, police said.

Each was held on $2,000 bail with no option for release on payment of 10 percent. Coleman posted bail and was released while Ridley was remanded to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in default of bail, police said.

Holloman, Lightsey and Dabney were charged with possession of under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on complaint summonses, police said.
