Manalapan police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man shown in surveillance video suspected of holding up the Sun National Bank on Route 9 Friday afternoon, by threatening the teller with a bomb.

It's unknown if the suspect was actually in possession of any type of explosive device or other weapons, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities say the robbery suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black hat and sunglasses. He escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white, middle-aged man, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing about 185 pounds, according to authorities.
