The Atlantic City Police Department continues to investigate a shooting Saturday afternoon that left a man wounded.

The incident happened just before 3:00 in the area of Indiana and Hummock Avenues.

According to the ACPD,

Sergeant Mohammad Kaiser located the man suffering from a gunshot wound. Sergeant Kaiser applied his department issued tourniquet to the man while awaiting medical personnel.

The victim was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division to be treated for injuries considered to be non-life threatening.
