Major Netflix Changes Coming Soon: How Will They Affect Us In NJ?
According to Statista, "Netflix's global subscriber base has reached an impressive milestone, surpassing 300 million paid subscribers worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2024. This marks a significant increase of nearly 20 million subscribers compared to the previous quarter, solidifying Netflix's position as a dominant force in the streaming industry." That is an impressive opening statement for this story.

I enjoy Netflix. It's easy to use and has a relatively low cost. They have tons of movies and are adding more original programming to enjoy. So when I saw a recent article that featured changes coming to Netflix, I was intrigued. Before we get riled up, let us see what these changes are and if they will affect us greatly here in New Jersey.
According to an article by Zachary Mack for Best Life, "As the pioneer of the streaming era, Netflix has earned its place as a constant guest in our homes for over a decade. These days, its constantly updating supply of must-see TV series and original movies has helped it maintain its status as a "core" subscription."
5 Major Changes Coming To Netflix
- Netflix will start airing a new type of ad
- Netflix is updating its user interface
- Netflix is changing the way you find your next watch
- Netflix will feed shorter videos
- Netflix will stream more live events and specials
So these 5 changes don't seem too bad, in fact, they look to make your experience even better. What I don't see, and I'm sure you noticed too, is that there is no price hike mentioned? That's good news.
