Santa Claus Is Coming To Town: Where To See Him
Where Did Santa Claus Is Coming To Town Come From?
The iconic words “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” started as a Christmas song written in 1934. The writer got the idea from childhood memories of being told that Santa watches children to see if they behave. When the song was first played on the radio, it became a huge hit and helped solidify that idea as a significant part of modern Christmas traditions.

We all grew up loving Santa, and of course, whenever Santa comes to town, it's an exciting time for the entire family. So let's take a look at some exciting visits from the big guy coming to Toms River.
Where Can You See Santa In The Toms River Area?
Here's a perfect opportunity to see Santa and Sue, and I will be hosting the evening. Friday night, December 5th, Toms River holds its annual Christmas-tree lighting from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at 33 Washington Street.
The event will feature live performances, fun family activities, and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus, who’ll help light the tree and pose for photos. The kids can meet Santa and the Mrs and have a great time at the lighting in Downtown Toms River.
According to Patch, there are other great locations to see Santa this Christmas season.
Toms River: Santa Claus arrives at the Ocean County Mall on Hooper Avenue on Thursday, December 4th, with a celebration from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. According to Patch, He will "make a grand entrance on a fire truck, followed by a holiday story time and a special surprise visitor you won’t want to miss," according to mall officials.
Additionally, if you're looking to take photos with Santa, reservations are required. There will also be a "sensory-friendly" event on Sunday, December 7th, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Reservations are required for the "sensory-friendly" event.
