
Lighting strikes a home in Ship Bottom that then becomes ablaze
The 2:00 pm hour Wednesday featured 'Thundersnow' that ripped through Ocean County with enough force to reportedly cause three incidents within twenty-minutes of each other.
Around 2:11 pm Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Company Station 46 along with other agencies for a structure fire at 914 Shore Avenue.
This fire remains under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshall's Office and the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
Around 9-minutes later police in Lakewood were called about a fire on Cross Street.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation and there's been no confirmation it was officially caused by lightning.
A few minutes later in Manchester, a middle school teacher was in fact struck by lightning while holding an umbrella on bus duty.
She's expected to be okay.
