Landlords, tenants can learn legal ropes March 18 in Toms River

When renters and owners disagree, is court the best option? What happens once it starts? Experts from South Jersey Legal Services shed light on what to expect in a free March 18 seminar at the Ocean County Court House in Toms River.

The New Jersey Superior Court offers it as part of a series of recurring workshops in the Ocean Vicinage, as well as court systems throughout the state.

Individual cases will not be addressed, but legal advisors will explain the landlord-tenant filing procedures, necessary forms and documents, and what takes place in a hearing.

It runs 10 AM until 12:30 PM in the court's jury assembly room, first floor of 100 Hooper Avenue.
