Located right along the Delaware River on the Pennsylvania border, Lambertville sits just steps from New Hope, making it the perfect two-town day trip. One of my favorite parts is walking across the bridge into Pennsylvania after shopping all day in New Jersey.

With more than twenty antique shops scattered throughout town, you can easily spend hours browsing everything from vintage furniture to rare collectibles.

What Makes Lambertville So Charming

Lambertville has that cozy, inviting feel the moment you arrive.

It’s homey, walkable, and full of beautiful scenery with the Delaware River and the D&R Canal adding so much charm to the experience. Between the historic buildings, little cafés, and unique boutiques, it feels like the kind of place where time slows down.

And of course, the antique shops are the real stars.

Some of the stores even stretch across two and three floors, giving you plenty of opportunities to hunt for something special. One local favorite is The People’s Store, a multi-level antique destination where every floor feels like its own adventure.
