Lakehurst Police have announced they've arrested two Ocean County residents after finding them in possession of various hard drugs.

A call came in on Wednesday afternoon sending officers to the area near the Dollar General in the borough.

When they arrived on scene, police spotted the vehicle as well as drug paraphernalia which was in plain sight.

A search of the vehicle ensued and inside officers also found 30 wax folds of Heroin, an undisclosed quantity of crack-cocaine and additional drug paraphernalia.

Amanda Centanni, 33, of Bayville and Matthew Eiche, 43, of Barnegat were then arrested without incident.

Lakehurst Police said that Centanni is charged with Possession of heroin, Possession of crack cocaine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of CDS and has been remanded to the Ocean County Jail.

While, Eiche is charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of a hypodermic needle and police said that he was released from custody, pending a mandatory court appearance.
