Kohr’s Officially Opens For The Season As They Celebrate 99 Years

Fireworks? Check!

Music? Yup, we have lots of that on the schedule!

Food favorites? Open for the season!

And now we have dessert, too!

There are plenty of signs that summer is here at the Jersey Shore, among the most beloved, the opening of Kohr's boardwalk outposts.

It's fair to say that Kohr's is time-honored. After all, they're celebrating their 99th birthday this year, and over 80 here in Ocean County!

Dotting the barrier island from Lavallette through Seaside Park, walking the boardwalk with their signature orange/vanilla swirl dripping down your hand is a Shore memory shared by generations.

So, happy birthday to Kohr's! Maybe I'll swing by tomorrow while I'm in Seaside for the season-opening day of broadcasts from our Seaside Park studio!
