Juveniles Accused of Looting, Defecating in Deal Yeshiva
The Saturday burglary of the Deal Yeshiva School is only part of a more sordid episode described by Ocean Township police.
Authorities say the juveniles they charged also blasted a fire extinguisher in the building and defecated on desks.
According to information from law enforcement, officers responding to a fire alarm at the Logan Road school arrived in time to see four youths scurrying from the site toward the Wannamassa Garden Apartments. Investigators determined that they entered through a window and proceeded to wreak havoc.
They tripped the fire alarm when they deployed the extinguisher, police said. They were found in the apartment complex through the aid of a K-9 team sent by Avon police.
All four were charged with burglary and criminal mischief and released to their parents to await Family Court proceedings.
