PATERSON — Police say the death of a man who jumped off a bridge near Paterson's Great Falls is being treated as a suicide.

According to The Record, the man jumped from the bridge just before 4 p.m. Tuesday. After first responders reported to the scene, the body was found in less than 15 minutes.

Deputy Police Chief Troy Oswald said the death is considered to be an apparent suicide but did not provide additional information.
