With the match up set for February 4th's Super Bowl LII, a lot of New Jersey football fans pretty much have to decide who is the lesser of two evils.

For Giants fans, there's no love lost for the Philadelphia Eagles. And if you're not from New England, let's be honest here, you've probably had enough of the Patriots shenanigans.

So it's a bit of a conundrum deciding who to root for (or, as the case may be, who to root against).

But what about New Jersey's celebrity tastemaker, Jon Bon Jovi?

Well, you might be surprised to learn who he's backing for the big game.

Of course JBJ was a football executive himself, bringing arena football to the City of Brotherly Love with the Philadelphia Soul in 2004, so you'd think that he'd have an affinity for Philly sports and get behind the Eagles.

But you'd think wrong.

It turns out that he's buddies with Patriots coach Bill Belichick and owner Bob Kraft. To the degree that he was on the sidelines to root on the team yesterday (not to mention celebrating with the team in the locker room when they clinched the championship, according to the Asbury Park Press).

So the through and through Jersey boy with Philadelphia sports cred will be cheering for Tom Brady and crew when the spectacle kicks off in Minnesota in two weeks.

I just know that knowing this will absolutely have an influence on who you're pulling for when Super Bowl Sunday rolls around! The more you know, right?
