Wow, Americans really love their burgers. We eat billions of hamburgers every single year in the United States. Think about it, fast-food stops, Jersey diners, summer BBQs, boardwalk restaurants, ballgames, and backyard cookouts all add up fast. On any given day, millions of people across America are biting into a burger for lunch or dinner. According to their website The Spoon and Bowl in Brick loves making delicious food for the Jersey Shore. "Our journey began during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our founder and chef, Michael Zagarella, a Toms River native with extensive experience in the culinary industry, started by delivering soups through touchless and contactless methods. As our soups gained popularity, we expanded to local farmers markets, which eventually led to the opening of our brick-and-mortar location."

We are currently hosting the Jersey Shore Burger Playoffs, and we are looking to see who you think is home to the "best burger". There are several restaurants that are trying to take the title, and one, which I just sampled, is the Spoon and Bowl (990 Cedarbridge Avenue) in Brick Township, Ocean County.

 

The Spoon and Bowl features their famous "Build a Wagyu Cheeseburger," and it's a treat! Delicious! ..... 100% Wagyu beef burger. If we have it, we will add it, up to 5 toppings, served on a toasted brioche bun.
