Close Out Summer with Family Events at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk

Nothing feels like summer the way Jenkinson's Boardwalk does — the rides, the games, the quintessential summer food, the aquarium, the arcade, and so much more.

There is plenty of summer left, and Jenkinson's Boardwalk isn't holding back on family-friendly event programming. Here's a look at what's coming up soon:

Oldies Night

• Sky's the Limit on Monday, Aug. 19 and Bobby Valli on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Both start at 7 p.m.
• Summer Concert Series shows are free to attend and are located on the South Beach Stage, which is on the beach in front of the ride park.

Fireworks at dark!

• Every Thursday night about 9:30 p.m. through Aug. 29.
• Watch from the boardwalk or the beach.

Hot Halloween

• Come in costume for spooky storytime, shows, meet & greets, and more, all on the beach from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 20-21.
• Stick around on Aug. 20 to watch Haunted Mansion as part of Movies on the Beach, which starts at 8:30 p.m., weather and wind permitting.

The Little Mermen

• NYC’s premier Disney cover band is returning to Jenkinson’s at 7 p.m. Aug. 22 to play rock covers of all your favorite Disney tunes on the beach! They'll be on the Pavilion Beach Stage, located on the beach in front of the Jenkinson's Aquarium.
• After the show, you can stay for fireworks at dark.

Eyes of the Wild

• Get up close and personal with some of our planet's most fascinating creatures while learning about the environment with a mixture of comedy and education. The presentation is geared toward children and adults alike.
• Shows start at 5:30 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 7 p.m. Aug. 23 on the Pavilion Beach Stage, located on the beach in front of the aquarium.

Marvel Meet & Greet with Spider-Man and Thor

• From 4-9 p.m. Aug. 29, Thor will be under the radio deck (by the Aquarium) and Spider-man will be on the South Beach Stage (on the beach by the Amusement Park).
• Meet both characters and have your picture taken with them.
• Stick around for the final fireworks at dark of the season. It usually starts around 9:30 p.m., wind and weather permitting.

Labor Day Fireworks

• They will conclude the holiday with fireworks at dark around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 2, weather and wind permitting. Check Jenkinson's website and social media for weather updates as needed.
• Watch from the boardwalk or the beach.
