Jackson teen hit by car suffers non-life threatening injuries
A Jackson Township teen who was hit by a car Tuesday around 6:45 pm on South New Prospect Road near Woodlane Road suffers only non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the teen was hit by a 1998 Ford F-150 while crossing South New Prospect Road driven by a 17-year old male Jackson resident.
The driver stopped his truck immediately and police say that he was fully cooperative with the investigating officers.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Police are still investigating the accident.

The public is reminded that any persons arrested or charged with any offenses or crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
