
26-year-old Atlantic City, NJ, Man Arrested, Charged With Murder
- A man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting last week

Arrest Made in Deadly Atlantic City Shooting
An Atlantic City man has been taken off the streets of the World's Play Ground for allegedly killing a man one week ago.
Charges Filed Against Sheldon Ward
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says 26-year-old Sheldon Ward was taken into custody Monday. He had been charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, and conspiracy to commit murder.
At about 10:30 PM last Monday, July 28th, Atlantic City police received a 9-1-1 call reporting a man lying on the sidewalk outside of the Martinique Motel on the 3000 block of Pacific Avenue.
There, they found 28-year-old Kendell Roseborough of Atlantic City unresponsive with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roseborough is the son of Atlantic City Councilwoman LaToya Dunston.
Suspect Apprehended by U.S. Marshals
Today (August 4th), Ward was taken into custody, without incident, by the United States Marshals Task Force. He is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
